Terms of Service

FPL Analyst is a free, independent tool for Fantasy Premier League managers. Using it means accepting the terms below.

Last updated: TODO: set the date these terms are published, and update it whenever they change.

These terms have not been reviewed yet.

They were drafted to describe how the site actually works, not by a lawyer. Every highlighted TODO is a decision only the site owner can make. Resolve them, and get the result checked, before treating this page as enforceable.

What you are getting

FPL Analyst reads publicly available Fantasy Premier League data and presents analysis of it: expected points, transfer and ownership trends, fixture difficulty, season report cards, and similar.

It is free. There is no subscription, no paid tier, and no account. You are not asked to register, and you are never asked for your FPL password — everything the site reads is data that is already public.

The numbers are estimates, not advice

Expected points and every other projection on this site are the output of a model. A model is a guess with arithmetic behind it. Players get injured, rotated, sent off, and benched in ways no model anticipates.

Nothing here is a recommendation to make a particular transfer, captain a particular player, or play a chip in a particular week. Those decisions are yours, and so are the results. If a suggestion from this site costs you points or a mini-league place, that is a risk you accept by using it.

Accuracy and availability

The site is provided as it is, with no guarantee that it works, that it is available, or that what it shows is correct or current.

It depends on services outside its control — the official FPL API, a public prediction dataset, and a separate analytics service. When any of those is slow, broken, or mid-update, parts of this site will show errors or stale numbers. This happens, and it is not a fault you are owed anything for.

Features may change or be withdrawn, and the site may go offline, at any time and without notice.

How not to use it

Please do not:

  • Send automated or bulk traffic at the site or its API routes, or use it in a way that degrades it for other people.
  • Scrape the site as a backdoor to the underlying APIs. Those APIs are public; go to them directly rather than through this site.
  • Republish or resell the output as your own product or service.
  • Try to break, probe, or gain unauthorised access to any part of the site or the systems behind it.

Access may be blocked if any of the above causes a problem.

Liability

This is a free tool maintained by one person. To the fullest extent the law allows, it comes with no warranties of any kind, and no liability is accepted for any loss arising from using it or from being unable to use it — including lost points, lost rank, or decisions taken on the strength of anything it displayed.

Nothing in these terms limits liability where the law does not allow it to be limited.

Governing law and jurisdiction: TODO: choose the country or state whose law governs these terms and whose courts settle disputes. This cannot be inferred from the code and should not be guessed.

Ownership and third-party links

The design, code, and written analysis on this site belong to its author. The underlying FPL data does not, and remains the property of its owners.

Some pages link to external sites, including the official FPL site and social media. Those are not under this site's control, and linking to one is not an endorsement of it.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as the site changes. The current version is always the one on this page, and the date at the top shows when it last changed. Continuing to use the site after a change means accepting the updated version.

Contact

Questions about these terms can go to: TODO: add the contact email address that should receive queries about these terms.
